This Waterproof bomber jacket is the ultimate in a lightweight waterproof jacket for women. It fuses a soft, fluid, four-way stretch high-performance waterproof fabric with minimalist urban sports luxe aesthetic. Beautifully shaped laser-cut and heat welded storm features are reflected by a softly shaped back hem creating extra coverage and protection where needed.

I wear this jacket everywhere. It looks really cool, while being completely waterproof. Best purchase I’ve made in a while.

I own a parka and a Mac. I love the idea of the city walker, but it’s too short for me (I’m six foot). I took a little while to take the plunge and order this, but – oh my – am I glad I did. It’s another absolutely gorgeous offering from Protected Species. Sharp lines, stretchy flowing material. It covers my bottom, and the sleeves reach just past my wrists (I had to size up, as a tall size 10, but the drawcords allow me to create shape and cinch it in, so it looks a perfect fit). I adore the new hood shape, and the tonal lining. Also love how the hood zips away. The olive colour is beautiful. I thought it was too dark when I opened the package, but in the light it is a truly stunning colour. I love the navy, but as I wear a lot of blue jeans, I prefer to have a contrast with my coat colour.I feel happy, comfortable, and ‘cool’ wearing this. Try it; you won’t be disappointed.

Came across Protected Species whilst looking for a new stylish ethical waterproof for dog walking. Bought the Olive Green Rain Bomber. It’s quite a soft warm olive green, very comfy and I love wearing it and the rain just bounces off it. Hope that continues to be the case as it gets worn and washed. So happy with this that I am now looking to purchase a Parka but everyday or Winter one is my dilemma.

This really is an amazing jacket. I’ve used it all winter. I wasn’t as keen on the fabric at first – it does have a soft and to be honest, luxurious feel, but I’d had a coat previously that felt similar and used to get very static, so I was expecting the same with this. I’m glad to say I’ve not had a problem with static, and best of all, it has been completely waterproof, which amazes me. I’ve paid quite a bit in the past for coats that are supposed to be waterproof and aren’t. Anyway, this is great, looks smart and is waterproof. Maybe a lightweight ‘packable’ design would be good for summer? This has been great for winter and I haven’t needed to wear anything very thick underneath (in the south), but it would be great to have a smart lightweight packable jacket.

I have owned this jacket for a few weeks now, and can honestly say that it has become my favourite jacket. The pictures can’t capture how soft and luxurious it feels. I can’t believe there aren’t more reviews singing its praises. Please don’t change anything about this. Just more colours please ?

These jackets are supremely stylish and comfortable, I ordered the Waterproof City Walker in Atmosphere white, also the Rain Bomber in Blue, I loved them both so much I decided to keep them both, the colours and styles suit me perfectly. I can honestly say they are the best jackets I have ever owned. I will definitely be purchasing more styles and colours in the future.

Love my rainbomber. Bought a 14 in black – I’m a 12-14 and can comfortably fit a thick jumper or gilet underneath to take me into winter. I’ve already worn it to play golf, on the school run, into the city and on a hike – it really is the perfect all-rounder. I love that it’s slightly longer than the Citywalker. I also bought the parka but have worn my rainbomber far more. It’s the perfect trans-seasonal jacket. Also love its sustainable creds. Well done, Team Protected Species.

Wow. This really is a lovely jacket. My search for a stylish waterproof that works with skirts and dresses has been long and painful! I’ve got the Bomber in black, size 14. The cut is perfect, flattering whilst roomy enough for layers underneath. Great customer service as well. Excellent all round!

I came across Protected Species quite by accident whilst browsing for a raincoat with a bit of style. I love the fact that PS is a small, independent company, run by people who care about creating good quality, long-lasting clothing. The rain bomber is competitively priced and far superior to any other raincoats I’ve seen. I have yet to wear it in the rain but the technology behind its manufacture convinces me it is superbly rain resistant. The placket concealing the top part of the zip is a lovely feature. The bomber drapes beautifully and feels truly elegant. The adjustable button means the sleeves are not too long, often a problem for me. I bought a size 10, which in some brands can be a tad too small, but it still feels fine with a chunky sweater underneath, so I would say the fit is generous, but still flattering. I particularly like the way the collar stands away from the neck. This means I can wear a silk or wool scarf to feel extra cosy. I chose mocha as a colour and it looks good with black or navy trousers and a brightly coloured scarf. Now I’m longing for proper Autumnal weather so I can wear and enjoy it!
