Wow! I love this parka , so different to anything else , stylish , lovely fabric ,great design and quality , haven’t been out in it yet as only ordered yesterday and it’s arrived next day !! (FAB) I ordered the size 12 which is a slimish fit and with room in to wear base layers thinish ones not chunky , as I’m a bit busty next time I will order the 14 , but I am extremely happy with my purchase can’t wait to be seen I feel very trendy wearing it , I will definitely be back for more Well Done Protected Species …..

As others have said, this is a lovely mackintosh, a rare combination of style and serious waterproof-ness. The material has a very luxuriant quality and it is so nice to put on and swish around in that it is hard to believe that it is also so practical. LIghtweight, and roomy too. Only thing to bear in mind is that if it gets very wet, it will take a while to dry afterwards (but you won't because you will not be wet!).

I am absolutely delighted with this purchase. The customer service was excellent. I asked for a delay in shipping of two weeks as we were out of the country. As soon as we were back I received notification that the parcel was out for delivery and it arrived the next day. The quality , fit and style are all outstanding. Particularly excellent value as the colour was reduced to £ 99.

I have had a PS coat for 3 years and still am both stylish and dry from the rain. The quality is brilliant. Love my red commuter coat and get a lot of compliments. I love that I can still see with the hood up- particularly as I am not the tallest so often can't see taller people I am talking to in other hoods! The only modification I would make would be to be able to zip or button in a warm lining into it to wear it through the winter for longer.

I have had this coat for around 7 years now and it's still going strong, even after heavy use in one of the wettest parts of the UK! Having a coat that is waterproof but light is amazing, it's easy to fit in a bag and you're not overheating all summer in a winter jacket. I'll definitely be buying again as mine is looking a little bit shabby now, although it's still waterproof and has no sign of any real damage. I've definitely got my money's worth out of this!

Absolutely love my new jacket. Went for the burnt horizon colour which is a lovely dark rusty red. It’s so well made and I’ve worn it twice in heavy rain and it just rolls off the material. The style is gorgeous and I’ve had lots of compliments. Highly recommend!!

I reviewed when I first received my beautiful City Walker, but wanted to add an update- I am currently in the Scottish Islands and the jacket has kept me warm and dry through two massive rains! I'm wearing it with rain pants and hiking boots but it's also stylish enough for the cities. It's such a a nicer option than the bulkier and "sporty" looking parkas surrounding me 🙂

Comfortable, extremely lightweight but not looking at all flimsy. I live in Scotland and shall no doubt be putting it the test shortly! 😉

Just perfection - exactly the right fit (I ordered a size small and I usually take a UK 8). Plenty of room to layer but doesn’t look sloppy. Works both for an off-duty look and dressed up with black tailored trousers and pointed flats. I’ll live in this this autumn (until I switch it out for the trench which I also have and love). I can’t rate Protected Species highly enough. The best waterproof coats on the market for when you don’t want to look like you’re about to climb a mountain ❤️

Incredibly breathable, lightweight and comfortable. Wore it at 28 degrees C and didn’t feel stuffy at all. Folded up nicely in my bag with zero wrinkles. Was worried that the white would be too bright but it’s actually quite muted - goes with everything. Wish I’d gotten it sooner!

This raincoat is well worth the money! It fits easily over my thickest winter coat but looks equally good on its own. I wore it over a few rainy days in Scotland and it was indeed waterproof and wind resistant without making me sweaty. It packs up small in a suitcase and is light and easy to carry. The white colour is very stylish, hasn't stained at all and it's so well made it's an absolute pleasure to wear.

Just purchased the Odyssey in olive green size S/M and it’s perfect! Asked for advice via the sizing questions and had great reply from them suggesting this one and I’m so pleased - I’m 5 ft 8 size 12 athletic build and this really fits well slightly oversized which I love but I’ll be able to put a really thick jumper/fleece or thin quilted coat under it too I the winter - bought for walking the dog and standing at football matches so having tested in the wet yet but sizing and length are spot on!

Absolutely love this coat. You know that feeling when you wonder how you ever managed without one? As well as being super practical and protective rainwear, its so stylish. I've had compliments literally every time I have worn it, including from complete strangers. Love the length and the fact you can wear it over bulky jumpers and jackets. I bought the khaki in the larger size. I am UK size 16 & it has lots of room.

Love the new Waterproof Odyssey. It’s light, the length is great and the quality is to the same high standards as all Protected Species products. It also fits beautifully and as far as I’m concerned is deserving of 5 star rating.
