I love my voyager backpack! Its spacious without bulk, the most perfect colour (goes with everything) whilst also being so damn cool. It comes with me to the office, on dog walks and on holiday, as with all PS pieces this is so thoughtfully designed - lots of pockets inside and out, soft touch and of course 100% waterproof. Perfection

Where do I begin? Lots of features on this backpack which are useful and it really helps to have zips on the outside of the bag (I can’t stand having to undo everything to get my bits and pieces out all the time). Thoughtful idea to have a pocket under the fold down section so that’s it not visible to prying eyes etc. All in all I love this bag and have had lots of compliments about it which is also very nice

Sleek backpack which packs A LOT in it. The dog lead holder does pop off under a bit of pressure but I have a very strong and unruly dog! I recommend this product - far more useful than I initially thought and looks great

Delighted to purchase another item from PS. Their hand writing is exquisite. The texture of the bag feels soft, but it’s also robust and feels bomb proof! I can testify to the waterproofing as I ride my bike along a country path to work daily with all weathers thrown at it. My only issue is that if I ever leave it empty by the front door my husband picks it up waltzes off to the gym and then leaves wet towels and sweaty gym gear in it!

As someone who hates being shackled with shoulder bags, I am a heavy user of rucksacks in general. I do already have a Parka from this brand, and I know it sounds odd but this bag operates in exactly the same way as my coat - it's smart, paired-down, not manly in any way - and because of this it comes with me everyday to my office. My other rucksacks don't see the light of day now to the extent that I've taken most of those to the local charity shop

The olive green parka is just stunning and unlike any other waterproof coat I have had. It's so sylish with great attention to detail and made of soft, drapey fabric with added stretch. I bought it in the midst of a mini heatwave, so haven't put it to the test yet, but I also wanted to draw attention to the amazing customer service I received. When the first coat I bought turned out to be a little snug (for reference, I'm probably a 10-12 and found that the 12 was a better fit to allow for layers), I asked about the best way to exchange for the next size up. After a couple of friendly and helpful emails I was sorted out with a replacement the very next day after the original was returned - really exceptional.

Love the total stretch fabric and the fact that is pretty much noiseless - and the deep olive colour. Also that it is indeed waterproof and windproof, and styles up or down easily depending on how you want to wear it. Not so keen on the shiny gunmetal hardware. When hands are cold and wet the toggles are quite fiddly - hard to grip and manoeuvre. Also this style is cut high under the arm. Given that most current knitwear is generous in the sleeves and generally quite bulky I would have appreciated the underarm being placed lower. All in all however, I love it and feel ready for anything when I've got it on.

I finally bought the Trench and I absolutely love it!!! I’ve had strangers stop me in the street to compliment it, friends comment on it every time we’re out, and I find myself telling everyone about the incredible fabric and how cleverly designed it is. It’s rare to find something so practical yet still so smart and sleek; it’s the perfect black trench to wear in the city, even with a dress. Truly one of the most versatile things in my wardrobe. Thank you for creating something so thoughtful, beautiful, and enduring.

The Harrington is AMAZING - thoughtful design, great attention to detail. Perfect for Spring/Summer. Portland Stone is such a warm neutral, really goes with everything. I love being able to remove the hood, giving 2 different styles, and there are so many other great details: ability to change sleeves, cinch in etc. Def takes you from dog walk to office to town with ease. I instantly feel more elevated and cool in my new coat - love!

I bought the Quest in November last year, a light weight jacket making it ideal for spring, summer and autumn seasons. However, it is also most suitable for the less colder climes during the winter months, with either merino wool layering, a down jacket or their knitted wool wind-cheater for country walks or cashmere/alpaca sweaters for smart casual. Good visibility colour when it gets dark too. A versatile comfortable jacket that allows you to move freely despite any layering and an easy oversized look without the layers. Functional, Packable, Stylish......Love it 🙃

This waterproof rain jacket is EXCELLENT. Everything about it is excellent. I love the flowing lightweight fabric, the very chic design and the ease of wearing. The workmanship is absolutely first class. One of the best items I’ve bought and worth every penny.

I was unsure about sizing for the Odyssey parka as I'm generally a UK 14 but sometimes edge into a 16, emailed Protected Species who replied super quick and recommended a size M which was spot on. I dealt with Rebecca, explained it would be fantastic if I had my coat for the coming weekend as was away and weather looked very rainy, coat arrived practically the next day (thank you Rebecca 🙏🏼) and I love it, definitely waterproof and feels more dressy and stylish that coats I've bought in the past. I went for the olive, fleece-free version as I wanted to wear outside of winter, plenty of room to layer underneath and comes down to mid-shin length so good coverage (I'm 5'3). Can't fault the process from start to finish and would highly recommend, thank you Protected Species!

I’m not a dog walker or hiker any more, but I do walk a good deal in an urban area. I’ve recently been caught in some very heavy showers which have soaked my trouser legs so I was interested to try a longer length like The Odessey coat. I know the quality of this brand as I already own a PS bomber which is warm and lightweight and wonderfully packable. At first I was unsure about the fullness of this coat, but actually it’s rather stylish and it would transition from a sensible and highly protective daytime raincoat to an elegant, drapey coat for an outdoor evening event, especially when dressed up with a brightly coloured silk scarf. I’m about 5 foot 4 in height and slightly built, so I bought a size 1 (10-12) in warm taupe. The length is perfect for me. It slso allows for my thickest sweater under it for extra warmth. I like to wear gloves usually, so was slightly disconcerted by the sensible wrist poppers, which are so snug they don’t really allow for a glove. So I simply turned the sleeves back slightly and they look fine. Another good feature is that the integrated hood has a tightening toggle right at the back which enables you to draw the hood closely around the head if you wish - for extra protection. All in all, I’m really pleased with this coat and hope to wear it for many a heavy shower in the future!
